Obviously, my love for peanut butter cups runs deep. But now, I have this new infatuation with pretzels. It’s getting pretty serious, and deciding between the two is quite the struggle. So, I do what any crazy snack enthusiast would do and combine my two favorites to create the perfect marriage of crunchy, nutty, sweet and salty chocolate peanut butter covered pretzels. With this pretzel, I thee wed. I do. I really, really do.

Alright, see that pretzel? It’s just dying to go for a swim in a bowl of melted peanut butter cups. Heck, I do too. All you have to do is unwrap a few (I used both dark and white chocolate peanut butter cups) and place them in a bowl.



Next, microwave the cups in 30 second intervals until fully melted (this will only take about one minute). Make sure to give them a good stir along the way, and try not to drink straight from the bowl. Restrain yourself.


Now, it’s time for the fun part. Dunk the pretzels into the melted cups to coat completely, then set on a wire rack to allow excess chocolate to drip off. And lastly, if you want to jazz them up a little (which I highly recommend you do), throw on some naturally colored sprinkles while they are still wet.


Refrigerate until chocolate is set (approximately 20 minutes) then crunch away. This is chocolate peanut butter pretzel perfection. Glad we could solve this little dilemma.
